The European Institute of Interdisciplinary Research (EIIR) announced today the publication of the Specialisation, Regional Clusters and Competitiveness: Regional Strategies Study on the Automotive Sector undertaken with the OECD and NUTEK, the Swedish Government Agency for Regional Development.

The study examines leading practices in automotive regional clusters in Italy, Sweden, the US and China and outlines policy recommendations for OECD member states applicable across the automotive sector along five axes which form the basis of a regional economic development strategy.
